المناجاة الثامنة : مناجاة المريدينThe Whispered Prayer of the Devotees 1 In the Name of ALLAH, the All-merciful, the All-compassionate بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم 1 2 Glory be to Thee! سُبْحانَكَ 2 3 How narrow are the paths for him whom Thou hast not guided!, ما أَضْيَقَ الطُّرُقَ عَلى مَنْ لَمْ تَكُنْ دَلِيلَهُ! 3 4 How plain the truth for him whom Thou hast guided on his way! وَما أَوْضَحَ الْحَقَّ عِنْدَ مَنْ هَدَيْتَهُ سَبِيلَه! 4 5 My God, so make us travel on the roads that arrive at Thee إلهِي فاسْلُكْ بِنا سُبُلَ الْوُصُولِ إلَيْكَ، 5 6 and set us into motion on the paths nearest to reaching Thee! وَسَيِّرْنا فِي أَقْرَبِ الطُّرُقِ لِلْوُفُودِ عَلَيْكَ، 6 7 Make near for us the far, قَرِّبْ عَلَيْنَا الْبَعِيدَ، 7 8 and make easy for us the hard and difficult! وَسَهِّلَ عَلَيْنَا الْعَسِيرَ الشَّدِيدَ، 8 9 Join us to Thy servants, those who وَأَلْحِقْنا بِعِبادِكَ الَّذِينَ هُمْ 9 10 hurry to Thee swiftly, هُمْ بِالْبِدارِ إلَيْكَ يُسارِعُونَ 10 11 knock constantly at Thy door, وَبابَكَ عَلَى الدَّوامِ يَطْرُقُونَ، 11 12 and worship Thee by night and by day, وَإيَّاكَ فِي اللَّيْلِ وَالنَّهارِ يَعْبُدُونَ، 12 13 while they remain apprehensive in awe of Thee! وَهُمْ مِنْ هَيْبَتِكَ مُشْفِقُونَ، 13 14 Thou hast purified their drinking places, الَّذِينَ صَفَّيْتَ لَهُمُ الْمَشارِبَ، 14 15 taken them to the objects of their desire, وَبَلَّغْتَهُمُ الرَّغآئِبَ، 15 16 granted their requests, وَأَنْجَحْتَ لَهُمُ الْمَطالِبَ، 16 17 accomplished their wishes through Thy bounty, وَقَضَيْتَ لَهُمْ مِنْ فَضْلِكَ الْمَآرِبَ، 17 18 filled their minds with Thy love, وَمَلأْتَ لَهُمْ ضَمآئِرَهُمْ مِنْ حُبِّكَ 18 19 and quenched their thirst with Thy pure drink. وَرَوَّيْتَهُمْ مِنْ صافِي شِرْبِكَ، 19 20 Through Thee have they reached the pleasure of whispered prayer to Thee, فَبِكَ إلى لَذِيذِ مُناجاتِكَ وَصَلُوا، 20 21 and in Thee have they achieved their furthest goals. وَمِنْكَ أَقْصى مَقاصِدِهِمْ حَصَّلُوا، 21 22 O He who فَيا مَنْ هُوَ 22 23 comes toward those who come toward Him and grants gifts and bestows bounty upon them through tenderness! عَلَى الْمُقْبِلِينَ عَلَيْهِ مُقْبِلٌ، وَبِالْعَطْفِ عَلَيْهِمْ عآئِدٌ مُفْضِلٌ، 23 24 He is compassionate and clement toward those heedless of His remembrance and loving and tender in drawing them to His door! وَبِالْغافِلِينَ عَنْ ذِكْرِهِ رَحِيمٌ رَؤُوفٌ، وَبِجَذْبِهمْ إلى بابِهِ وَدُودٌ عَطُوفٌ، 24 25 I ask Thee to place me among those of them who have أَسْأَلُكَ أَنْ تَجْعَلَنِي مِنْ 25 26 the fullest share from Thee, أَوْفَرِهِمْ مِنْكَ حَظّاً، 26 27 the highest station with Thee, وَأَعْلاهُمْ عِنْدَكَ مَنْزِلاً، 27 28 and the most plentiful portion of Thy love, وَأَجْزَلِهِـمْ مِنْ وُدِّكَ قِسَمـاً، 28 29 the most excellent allotment of Thy knowledge, وَأَفْضَلِهِمْ فِي مَعْرِفَتِكَ نَصِيباً، 29 30 for my aspiration has been cut off from everything but Thee فَقَدِ انْقطَعَتْ إلَيْكَ هِمَّتِي، 30 31 and my desire has turned toward Thee alone. وَانْصَرَفَتْ نَحْوَكَ رَغْبَتِي، 31 32 Thou art my object, none other; فَأَنْتَ لاَ غَيْرُكَ مُرادِي، 32 33 to Thee alone belongs my waking and my sleeplessness. وَلَكَ لا لِسِواكَ سَهَرِي وَسُهادِي، 33 34 Meeting Thee is the gladness of my eye, وَلِقاؤُكَ قُرَّةُ عَيْني، 34 35 joining Thee the wish of my soul. وَوَصْلُكَ مُنى نَفْسِي، 35 36 Toward Thee is my yearning, وَإلَيْكَ شَوْقِي، 36 37 in love for Thee my passionate longing, وَفِي مَحَبَّتِكَ وَلَهِي، 37 38 in inclining toward Thee my fervent craving. وَإلى هَواكَ صَبابَتِي، 38 39 Thy good pleasure is the aim I seek, وَرِضاكَ بُغْيَتي، 39 40 vision of Thee my need, وَرُؤْيَتُكَ حاجَتِي، 40 41 Thy neighborhood my request, وَجِوارُكَ طَلَبِي، 41 42 nearness to Thee the utmost object of my asking. وَقُرْبُكَ غايَةُ سُؤْلِي، 42 43 In whispered prayer to Thee I End my repose and my ease. وَفِي مُنَاجَاتِكَ رَوْحِي وَراحَتِي، 43 44 With Thee lies وَعِنْدَكَ 44 45 the remedy of my illness, دَوآءُ عِلَّتِي، 45 46 the cure for my burning thirst, وَشِفآءُ غُلَّتِي، 46 47 the coolness of my ardour, وَبَرْدُ لَوْعَتِي، 47 48 the removal of my distress. وَكَشْفُ كُرْبَتِي. 48 49 Be فَكُنْ 49 50 my intimate in my loneliness, أَنِيْسِي فِي وَحْشَتِي، 50 51 the releaser of my stumble, وَمُقِيلَ عَثْرَتِي، 51 52 the forgiver of my slip, وَغافِرَ زَلَّتِي، 52 53 the accepter of my repentance, وَقابِلَ تَوْبَتِي، 53 54 the responder to my supplication, وَمُجِيبَ دَعْوَتِي، 54 55 the patron of preserving me from sin, وَوَلِيَّ عِصْمَتِي، 55 56 the one who frees me from my neediness وَمُغْنِيَ فاقَتِي، 56 57 Cut me not off from Thee وَلا تَقْطَعْنِي عَنْكَ، 57 58 and keep me not far from Thee وَلا تُبْعِدْنِي مِنْكَ 58 59 O my bliss and my garden يا نَعِيمِي وَجَنَّتِي، 59 60 O my this world and my hereafter وَيا دُنْيايَ وَآخِرَتِي، 60 61 O Most Merciful of the mercifull يا أَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِينَ. 61 |
