دعاء يوم الجمعةThe Supplication for Friday 1 In the Name of ALLAH, the All-merciful, the All-compassionate بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم 1 2 Praise belongs to ALLAH, أَلْحَمْدُ لِلّهِ 2 3 the First before the bringing forth and the giving of life, الاَوَّلِ قَبْلَ الانْشآءِ وَالاحْيآءِ، 3 4 and the Last after the annihilation of all things, وَالاخِرِ بَعْدَ فَنآءِ الاَشْيَآءِ، 4 5 the All-knowing who الْعَلِيمِ الَّذِي 5 6 forgets not him who remembers Him, لا يَنْسَى مَنْ ذَكَرَهُ، 6 7 decreases not him who thanks Him, وَلا يَنْقُصُ مَنْ شَكَرَه، 7 8 disappoints not him who supplicates Him, وَلا يُخَيِّبُ [يَخِيبُ خ ل] مَنْ دَعاهُ، 8 9 and cuts not off the hope of him who hopes in Him! وَلا يَقْطَعُ رَجآءَ مَنْ رَجاهُ. 9 10 O ALLAH, أَللَّهُمَّ إنِّي 10 11 I call Thee to witness—and Thou art sufficient witness—and I call to witness all Thy angels, أُشْهِدُكَ وَكَفى بِكَ شَهِيداً، وَأُشْهِدُ جَمِيعَ مَلائِكَتِكَ، 11 12 the inhabitants of Thy heavens, the bearers of Thy Throne, Thy prophets and Thy messengers whom Thou hast sent out, and the various kinds of creatures Thou hast brought forth, that وَسُكَّانَ سَمواتِكَ، وَحَمَلَةَ عَرْشِكَ، وَمَنْ بَعَثْتَ مِنْ أَنْبِيآئِكَ وَرُسُلِكَ وَأَنْشَأْتَ مِنْ أَصْنافِ خَلْقِكَ، أَنِّي 12 13 I bear witness that Thou art ALLAH; أَشْهَدُ أَنَّكَ أَنْتَ اللَّهُ 13 14 there is no god but Thou, لا إلهَ إلاَّ أَنْتَ، 14 15 Thou alone, who hast no associate nor any equal, وَحْدَكَ لاَ شَرِيكَ لَكَ، وَلا عَدِيلَ 15 16 and Thy word has no failing, nor any change; وَلا خُلْفَ لِقَوْلِكَ وَلا تَبْدِيْلَ، 16 17 and that MUHAMMAD (ALLAH bless him and his Household) is Thy servant and Thy messenger; وَأَنَّ مُحَمَّداً صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وآلِهِ عَبْدُكَ وَرَسُولُكَ، 17 18 he delivered to the servants that with which Thou charged him, أَدَّى ما حَمَّلْتَهُ إلَى الْعِبادِ، 18 19 he struggled for ALLAH as is His due, وَجاهَدَ فِي اللَّهِ [عزّوجل خ ل ]حَقَّ الْجِهادِ، 19 20 he gave the good news of the truth of reward, وَأَنَّهُ بَشَّرَ بِما هُوَ حَقٌّ مِنَ الثَّوابِ، 20 21 and he warned of the veracity of punishment. وَأَنْذَرَ بِما هُوَ صِدْقٌ مِنَ الْعِقابِ. 21 22 O ALLAH, make me firm in Thy religion as long as Thou keepest me alive, أَللَّهُمَّ ثَبِّتْنِي عَلى دِينِكَ ما أَحْيَيْتَنِي، 22 23 make not my heart to swerve after Thou hast guided me, وَلا تُزِغْ قَلْبِي بَعْدَ إذْ هَدَيْتَنِي، 23 24 and give me mercy from Thee, وَهَبْ لِي مِنْ لَدُنْكَ رَحْمَةً، 24 25 surely Thou art the Giver. إنَّكَ أَنْتَ الْوَهَّابُ، 25 26 Bless MUHAMMAD and the Household of MUHAMMAD, صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّد وَآلِ مُحَمَّد 26 27 make me one of his followers and his partisans, وَاجْعَلْنِي مِنْ أَتْباعِهِ وَشِيعَتِهِ 27 28 muster me in his band, وَاحْشُرْنِي فِي زُمْرَتِهِ 28 29 and give me the success of accomplishing the obligatory observance of Friday, وَوَفِّقْنِي لاَداءِ فَرْضِ الْجُمُعاتِ، 29 30 performing the acts of obedience which Thou has made incumbent upon me within it, وَما أَوْجَبْتَ عَلَيَّ فِيها مِنَ الطَّاعاتِ، 30 31 [receiving] the bestowal which Thou hast apportioned for its people on the Day of Recompense! وَقَسَمْتَ لاَِهْلِها مِنَ الْعَطآءِ فِي يَوْمِ الْجَزآءِ، 31 32 Surely Thou art Might wise! إنَّكَ أَنْتَ الْعَزِيزُ الْحَكِيمُ. 32 |
