دعاء يوم الخميسThe Supplication for Thursday 1 In the Name of ALLAH, the All-merciful, the All-compassionate بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم 1 2 Praise belongs to ALLAH, أَلْحَمْدُ لِلّهِ الَّذِي 2 3 who has taken away the shadowy night by His power أَذْهَبَ اللَّيْلَ مُظْلِمَاً بِقُدْرَتِهِ، 3 4 and brought the sight-giving day through His mercy. وَجآءَ بِالنَّهارِ مُبْصِراً بِرَحْمَتِهِ، 4 5 He has clothed me in its brightness and given me its favour. وَكَسانِي ضِيآءَهُ وَآتانِي نِعْمَتَهُ. 5 6 O ALLAH, just as Thou hast spared me for this day, so also spare me for its likes, أَللَّهُمَّ فَكَما أَبْقَيْتَنِي لَهُ فَأَبْقِنِي لاَِمْثالِهِ، 6 7 bless the prophet MUHAMMAD and his Household, وَصَلِّ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ مُحَمَّد وَآلِهِ، 7 8 torment me not in it and in other nights and days by allowing me to commit unlawful acts and to clothe myself in sins; وَلا تَفْجَعْنِي فِيهِ وَفِي غَيْرِهِ مِنَ اللَّيالِي وَالاَيَّامِ بِارْتِكابِ الْمَحارِمِ، وَاكْتِسابِ الْمَاثِمِ، 8 9 provide me with its good, the good of all within it, and the good of everything after it; وَارْزُقْنِي خَيْرَهُ، وَخَيْرَ ما فِيهِ، وَخَيْرَ ما بَعْدَهُ، 9 10 and turn away from me its evil, the evil of all within it, and the evil of everything after it!. وَاصْرِفْ عَنِّي شَرَّهُ، وَشَرَّ ما فِيهِ، وَشَرَّ ما بَعْدَهُ. 10 11 O ALLAH, أَللَّهُمَّ إنِّي 11 12 by the protective compact of Islam, I seek mediation with Thee! بِذِمَّةِ الاِسْلامِ أَتَوَسَّلُ إلَيْكَ، 12 13 by the inviolability of the Qur'an, I rely upon Thee! وَبِحُرْمَةِ الْقُرْآنِ أَعْتَمِدُ عَلَيْكَ، 13 14 By MUHAMMAD the chosen (ALLAH bless him and his Household), I seek intercession with Thee وَبِمُحَمَّد الْمُصْطَفى صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وآلِهِ أَسْتَشْفِعُ لَدَيْكَ، 14 15 So recognize my protective compact by which I hope my need will be granted, فَاعْرِفِ اللَّهُمَّ ذِمَّتِي الَّتِي رَجَوْتُ بِها قَضآءَ حاجَتِي، 15 16 O Most Merciful of the merciful! يا أَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِينَ. 16 17 O ALLAH, decree for me on Thursday five things أَللَّهُمَّ اقْضِ لِي فِي الخَمِيسِ خَمْساً 17 18 which none embraces but Thy generosity لا يَتَّسِعُ لَها إلاَّ كَرَمُكَ 18 19 and none supports but Thy favours: وَلا يُطِيقُها إلاَّ نِعَمُكَ: 19 20 health through which I may have the strength to obey Thee, سَلامَةً أَقْوى بِها عَلَى طاعَتِكَ 20 21 worship by which I may deserve Thy plentiful reward, وَعِبادَةً أَسْتَحِقُّ بِها جَزِيلَ مَثُوبَتِكَ، 21 22 plenty in my state through lawful provision, وَسَعَةً فِي الْحالِ مِنَ الرِّزْقِ الْحَلالِ، 22 23 that Thou makest me secure in the places of fear through Thy security, وَأَنْ تُؤْمِنَنِي فِي مَواقِفِ الْخَوْفِ بِأَمْنِكَ، 23 24 and placest me in Thy fortress against the striking of worries and sorrows! وَتَجْعَلَنِي مِنْ طَوارِقِ الْهُمُومِ وَالْغُمُومِ فِي حِصْنِكَ، 24 25 Bless MUHAMMAD and his Household, صَلِّ عَلى مُحَمَّد وَآلِهِ، 25 26 and make my seeking his mediation as an intercessor give profit on the Day of Resurrection! وَاجْعَل تَوَسُّلِي بِهِ شافِعَاً يَوْمَ الْقِيامَةِ نافِعاً، 26 27 Surely Thou art the Most Merciful of the merciful! إنَّكَ أَنْتَ أَرْحَمُ الرَّاحِمِينَ. 27 |
