دعاء يوم الأربعاءThe Supplication for WEDNESDAY 1 In the Name of ALLAH, the All-merciful, the All-compassionate بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم 1 2 Praise belongs to ALLAH, who appointed أَلْحَمْدُ لِلّهِ الَّذِي جَعَلَ 2 3 the night to be a garment, اللَّيْلَ لِباساً، 3 4 and sleep for a rest, وَالنَّوْمَ سُباتَاً، 4 5 and day He appointed for a rising! وَجَعَلَ النَّهارَ نُشُوراً. 5 6 To Thee belongs praise, for Thou roused me from my sleep, —and hadst Thou willed, Thou wouldst have made it everlasting— لَكَ الْحَمْدُ أَنْ بَعَثْتَنِي مِنْ مَرْقَدِي، وَلَوْ شِئْتَ جَعَلْتَهُ سَرْمَداً 6 7 an everlasting praise that will never be cut off حَمْداً دَائِمَاً لا يَنْقَطِعُ أَبَداً، 7 8 and whose number the creatures will never count! وَلا يُحْصِي لَهُ الْخَلائِقُ عَدَدَاً. 8 9 O ALLAH, to Thee belongs praise, أَللَّهُمَّ لَكَ الْحَمْدُ أَنْ 9 10 for Thou created, then proportioned, خَلَقْتَ فَسَوَّيْتَ، 10 11 ordained and decreed, وَقَدَّرْتَ وَقَضَيْتَ، 11 12 gave death and bestowed life, وَأَمَتَّ وَأَحْيَيْتَ، 12 13 made sick and healed, وَأَمْرَضْتَ وَشَفَيْتَ، 13 14 made well and afflicted, وَعافَيْتَ وَأَبْلَيْتَ، 14 15 and sat upon the Throne وَعَلَى الْعَرْشِ اسْتَوَيْتَ، 15 16 encompassed the Kingdom! وَعَلَى الْمُلْكِ احْتَوَيْتَ. 16 17 I supplicate Thee with the supplication of one أَدْعُوكَ دُعآءَ مَنْ 17 18 whose mediation is weak, ضَعُفَتْ وَسِيلَتُهُ، 18 19 whose stratagems have been cut off, وَانْقَطَعَتْ حِيلَتُهُ، 19 20 whose term has drawn near, وَاقْتَرَبَ أَجَلُهُ، 20 21 whose expectation from this world has shrunk, وَتَدانى فِي الدُّنْيا أَمَلُهُ، 21 22 whose neediness for Thy mercy has intensified, وَاشْتَدَّتْ إلى رَحْمَتِكَ فاقَتُهُ، 22 23 whose remorse for his neglect has become great, وَعَظُمَتْ لِتَفْرِيطِهِ حَسْرَتُهُ، 23 24 whose slips and stumbles have become many, وَكَثُرَتْ زَلَّتُهُ وَعَثْرَتُهُ، 24 25 and whose repentance is devoted sincerely to Thy face. وَخَلُصَتْ لِوَجْهِكَ تَوْبَتُهُ. 25 26 So bless MUHAMMAD, the Seal of the Prophets, فَصَلِّ عَلى مُحَمَّد خاتَمِ النَّبِيِّينَ، 26 27 and his Household, the good, the pure. وَعَلى أَهْلِ بَيْتِهِ الطَّيِّبِينَ الطَّاهِرِينَ، 27 28 provide me with the intercession of MUHAMMAD (ALLAH bless him and his Household) وَارْزُقْنِي شَفاعَةَ مُحَمَّد صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ، 28 29 and deprive me not of his companionship! وَلا تَحْرِمْنِي صُحْبَتَهُ 29 30 Surely Thou art the Most Merciful of the merciful! إنَّكَ أَنْتَ أَرْحَمُ الرَّاحِمِينَ. 30 31 O ALLAH, decree for me on Wednesday four things: Induce me أَللَّهُمَّ اقْضِ لِي فِي الاَرْبِعآءِ أَرْبَعَاً: إجْعَلْ 31 32 to be strong in obedience to Thee, قُوَّتِي فِي طاعَتِكَ، 32 33 to be joyful in worshiping Thee, وَنَشاطِي فِي عِبادَتِكَ، 33 34 to be desirous of Thy reward, وَرَغْبَتِي فِي ثَوَابِكَ، 34 35 and to abstain from that which would make incumbent upon me Thy painful punishment! وَزُهْدِي فِيما يُوجِبُ لِي أَلِيمَ عِقابِكَ، 35 36 Thou art Gentle to whom Thou wilt! إنَّكَ لَطِيفٌ لِما تَشآءُ. 36 |
