دعاء يوم الأحدThe Supplication for Sunday 1 In the Name of ALLAH, the All-merciful, the All-compassionate بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم 1 2 In the name of ALLAH, بِسْمِ اللهِ الَّذِي 2 3 from whom I hope for nothing but bounty, لاَ أَرْجُو إِلاَّ فَضْلَهُ، 3 4 and from whom I fear nothing but justice وَلاَ أَخْشَى إلاَّ عَدْلَهُ، 4 5 I rely only upon His word, وَلا أَعْتَمِدُ إلاَّ قَوْلَهُ، 5 6 and I cling only to His cord وَلا أَتَمَسَّكُ [اُمْسِكُ خ ل ]إلاَّ بِحَبْلِهِ. 6 7 In Thee I seek sanctuary بِكَ أَسْتَجِيرُ 7 8 —O Possessor of pardon and good pleasure— يا ذَا الْعَفْوِ وَالرِّضْوانِ 8 9 from wrong and enmity, مِنَ الظُّلْمِ وَالْعُدْوانِ، 9 10 from the changes of time وَمِنْ غِيَرِ الزَّمانِ، 10 11 and the recurrence of sorrows, وَتَواتُرِ الاَحْزانِ، 11 12 and from the striking of mishaps [وَمِنْ طَوارِقِ الْحَدَثَانِ] 12 13 from the expiration of my term before preparation and readiness. وَمِنِ انْقِضآءِ الْمُدَّةِ قَبْلَ التَّأَهُّبِ وَالْعُدَّةِ. 13 14 From Thee I seek guidance to that wherein is righteousness and being set right. وَإيَّاكَ أَسْتَرْشِدُ لِما فِيهِ الصَّلاحُ وَالاِصْلاحُ، 14 15 From Thee I seek help in that which is linked to success and favorable response. وَبِكَ أَسْتَعِينُ فِيما يَقْتَرِنُ بِهِ النَّجاحُ وَالاِنْجاحُ. 15 16 Thee I beseech for the garment of well-being and its completion and for the covering of health and its permanence. وَإيَّاكَ أَرْغَبُ فِي لِباسِ الْعافِيَةِ وَتَمامِها، وَشُمُولِ السَّلامَةِ وَدَوامِها، 16 17 I seek refuge in Thee, my Lord, from the goadings of the SATANs, وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ يارَبِّ مِنْ هَمَزاتِ الشَّياطِينِ، 17 18 and I seek protection in Thy sovereignty from the injustice of the sovereigns. وَأَحْتَرِزُ بِسُلْطانِكَ مِنْ جَوْرِ السَّلاطِينِ، 18 19 So accept my past prayers and fasting فَتَقَبَّلْ ما كانَ مِنْ صَلاتِي وَصَوْمِي، 19 20 and make my tomorrow and what is after better than my present hour and my today! واجْعَلْ غدي وَمَا بَعْدَهُ أفَضَلَ من سَاعَتي وَيَوْمِي، 20 21 Exalt me in my clan and my people وَأَعِزَّنِي فِي عَشِيرَتِي وَقَوْمِي، 21 22 and protect me in my waking and my sleeping! وَاحْفَظْنِي فِي يَقْظَتِي وَنَوْمِي، 22 23 For Thou art ALLAH, the Best Guardian, فَأَنْتَ اللَّهُ خَيْرٌ حافِظاً، 23 24 and Thou art the Most Merciful of the merciful. وَأَنْتَ أَرْحَمُ الرَّاحِمِينَ. 24 25 O ALLAH, I am quit before Thee أَللَّهُمَّ إنِّي أَبْرَأُ إلَيْكَ 25 26 on this day of mine and on all Sundays that follow it of associating others with Thee and of heresy فِي يَوْمِي هذا وَ في ما بَعْدَهُ مِنَ الاحادِ مِنَ الشِّرْكَ وَالالْحَادِ، 26 27 I devote my supplication sincerely to Thee, addressing myself to Thy response. وَأُخْلِصُ لَكَ دُعآئِي تَعَرُّضَاً لِلاِجابَةِ 27 28 So bless MUHAMMAD and the Household of MUHAMMAD, فَصَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّد وَآلِ مُحَمَّد 28 29 the best of Thy creation, the summoner to Thy truth, خَيْرِ خَلْقِكَ، الدَّاعِي إلَى حَقِّكَ، 29 30 exalt me with Thy exaltation, which is never made to suffer loss, وَأَعِزَّنِي بِعِزِّكَ الَّذِي لا يُضامُ، 30 31 protect me with Thy eye, which never sleeps, وَاحْفَظْنِي بِعَيْنِك الَّتِي لاتَنامُ، 31 32 and seal my affair by cutting me off from everything but Thee and my life with forgiveness! وَاخْتِمْ بِالانْقِطَاعِ إلَيْكَ أَمْرِي، وَبِالْمَغْفِرَةِ عُمْرِي، 32 33 Surely Thou art the All-forgiving, the All-compassionate! إنَّكَ أَنْتَ الْغَفُورُ الرَّحِيمُ. 33 |
